Disable account

You can disable your account by following these steps:

  1. Log in to gravatar.com
  2. Click your email address in the top right corner and click on “Account Settings“.
  3. Select Security & data tab.
  4. Click on Disable under the Disable account sub-section.
  5. Read the notice and confirm the action by clicking on Disable Account.

Disabling your account hides all your Gravatar data and removes access to Gravatar settings. After 30 days, your Gravatar.com data will be permanently deleted. If you change your mind within the 30 days, you can reenable your account by logging in and selecting Enable My Gravatar from the top menu. After that period, you can log into Gravatar.com to sign up for a new profile.

If you wish to permanently close your account, you can do so by closing your WordPress.com account.
