Time is on the wind Rolling on again Each day feels the same Learn to love the pain Feeling the ways Sky's always grey Reaching for a change Dreaming just the same Am I lost in Dreams that fly away Time is everything Time is nothing Time is on the wind Rolling on again Each day is a new way Learn to love again

New Twang 05:48
Been awhile since I saw you Stay awhile, I need you Stay with me awhile I'll make it all alright Train is leaving, I'm still in the station Waiting for that invitation And how far is heaven Think of you when the moon is bright See your name written in lights And I won't forget you Still you're on my mind Couldn't make it right No amount of time Can heal the hole inside How far is heaven How far is heaven How far is heaven How far is heaven

Drifting through the world Like a rolling stone Never on a path that felt like my own Ignoring the things that called to me In favor of being who they wanted to see Daisy blowing in the wind Through the cracks that's how the light gets in Casting out to sea There is a thread of hope that lives in me Nothing bad can fall on a sunny day I say to you as he's washed away Always waiting for someone To take the blame for what I've done Heavy-hearted in the wind Through the cracks that's how the doubt gets in Floating out to sea There is a thread of hope still within me Won't let go No I won't let go of that hope But I will, I'll let go Yeah I'll let go of the blame
4.
Lonely and open-hearted Thirsting for connection I can see the way you shift to me Your guilt I can feel the weight of all the years And still It's not mine to hold It's not mine to hold Ghost of what once was, haunting me Not as easy as it seemed I can feel the way you shift to me Your guilt I can feel the weight of all the years And still It's not mine to hold It's not mine to hold I'll break the mold It's not mine to hold
5.
Pity 04:00
Lately I've been low Lower than before Eating up my time Leave me alone Lately it's been hard Harder than before Feeling like I'm Falling behind It's no fault of mine Oh, isn't it delightful Oh, did I let you down Oh, does it matter now Oh, did I let you down Oh, does it matter now Does it matter now Does it matter now Doesn't matter now
6.
Faker, advantage taker Charmer to all but some Shedding your snake skin Getting under mine See it in your eyes Hunger for the prize Comes as no surprise You'll have it no matter the price Have them eating from your hand Only a prophet in your own land Faker, advantage taker Charmer to all but one Shedding your snake skin

So Light 04:08
Who would I be Without this agony I have so long carried False symbols of maturity A heart so light I'm blinded by it What would it be to let go Of the stories I've known Would I find there's more to me Than the holiness of suffering A heart so light I'm blinded by it A heart so light So light now A heart so light I'm blinded by it A heart so light I'm guided by it
8.
Lost My Head 04:57
Went for a walk, soon I'm home Feeding on a thought, do no harm Meaning of it all, in the sand I lost my head in the sky Time slip away, always gone Here but not for long, it's our song Fleeing the dark, dark inside I rest my head somewhere soft Feel it all, won't stay down Deep but not enough to drown Coming up for air, find healing there 'Til we meet the end, hearts will mend On and on Endless song On and on Went for a walk, soon I'm home Feeding on a thought, do no harm
9.
Sun peeking through the grass On the hills where we were made Summer's blazing heat Is here to stay The world is big and full I'm gonna see it all with you Do you know what it is to be free Do you remember how it felt to be free Grass-stained New Balances And heaven became the same Still, a younger me Looks for somebody to blame The world is big and cruel Won't let it take me for a fool Been a cynic since I turned sixteen And I knew Oh, what it meant to be free Freer than you could ever be Stretching out before me Every view that you'd never see Freer than I could be Freer than a bird in the sky Freer than I wanted them to be And the still, steady Tick of time
10.
Slow and soft Never anyone she's not Growing in to growing pains Not ready to change But the world won't wait Something in the way Unwanted advances Over-shoulder glancing Is this the price I'll pay For being all of me Birches along river's edge White and dead Stretching out like spider webs Sticks and stones in my head Something about the way it feels like fate Wish it would, but the world won't wait Unwanted advances Over-shoulder glancing Is this the price I'll pay For being all of me

about

We like to think of this as our "coming of age" album. The songs are more personal and direct than we've written in the past and each track details pretty major life themes that have been present for us in the past few years. As is often displayed in coming of age stories, there was an element of soul-searching and a level of self-acceptance that needed to happen in order for this album to even exist at all. We hope it will be a friend to you wherever you are in your own journey.
