Gasko Station is a Romulan space station in the Gasko System of the Gasko Sector.
Built in the late 22nd century, the space station helped solidify Romulan claims to the system versus those of the Klingons, and a small fleet was maintained at the site for the next half-century. After the Klingons allied with the Federation, the region's strategic importance waned and the Romulans abandoned the station. It was repopulated by a small group of refugees after the destruction of Romulus in 2387.
Missions involved[]
“Gasko Blues”: In order to rally more support for the young Romulan Republic, the player visits Gasko Station in early 2409. The station is a neutral home to Romulan colonists, scientists, and medical personnel, including Lhaes and his younger brother Hiven, who is imprisoned in the brig for accusing one of the station's guards to be a Tal Shiar spy. The station's chief security officer, Tobol, escorts the player's away team to station administrator Commander Adar's office in order to discuss an alliance. The meeting turns out to be a Tal Shiar ambush set up by Hakeev, and Lhaes, Tobol, and possibly Adar are killed during the ensuing firefight. Many remaining survivors are evacuated onto the player's ship and Hiven joins the crew as a science officer.
“Desperate Measures”: Months later, Federation players track the I.R.W. Aj'rmr to Gasko Station, where they find the station's remaining inhabitants, e.g., head researcher Lynian, have been forced to work on experiments involving Borg technology for the Tal Shiar. After defeating the station's new Commander, Khaiel N'Vek, the player frees several Romulan test subjects, including T'Kela.

- As, despite the actions against Gasko Station by both the Romulan Republic and Starfleet, no mention is made of the station being destroyed or abandoned, it is - presumably - still in the hands of the Tal Shiar.
