This actually should be doable. I'll look into it.
I feel like they are very strong and would still remain so, I probably still wouldn't bother upgrading to musketmen but it wouldn't be a completely boneheaded thing to do if the AI or a new player did it.
I don't guess there's a way to make them upgrade to line infantry but be unbuildable after gunpowder, or have them increase in price after gunpowder to musketman levels?
The Okofo is supposed to be a cheap alternative to the Man-at-Arms that's supposed to remain viable as Musketmen come online without needing to upgrade. In return for the cheapness, you can't pre-produce them, and they aren't available for incredibly long.
