Definetely a game you should try out, if you enjoy automatization.

A really fun combination of an Anno-like economy-focused city builder and a Total War-like RTS that doesn't only look great, but is fun to play.

Eventhough its Early Acess state is very noticeable with A LOT of features being locked behind 'in development' windows when you look at them in the game, the game is nonetheless worth getting even in the current state.

A fun turn-based strategy, that you will more than probably enjoy if you like games like Civ, though it is definetely more focused on the military aspect - and that one is fairly well-done.

Though beware, a scammy prevalent today DLC model of *get 4 factions, buy each new one for half of the game's price* is sadly didn't skip this game.

L4D of Warhammer universe. Though comparetevilty more fun to play and doesn't get boring as much.

Purging xeno scum on ships of your own choice? Hell yeah.

TL;DR: I recommend this game, but if you are looking for a soulslike experience, don't play on the easiest difficulty, especially in co-op.

It is hard not to compare it to Dark Souls. And if we do, Remnant has:
>much easier difficulty(if we ignore the difficulty slider)
>more noticeable bugs (resulted in a death and a softlock until reboot)
>janky AI, that is quite noticeable in Co-op
>lack of variability in loot
>gradually decreasing difficulty - transition from a soulslike into a bullet-soaking FPS overtime (though bosses do get harder)
>change of enviroment art design overtime (which to some can be a pro, rather than a con)
>a 'blocky' feel to its amateurish level design, big and repetative locations
>most of the bosses are quite boring. Only 1 truly memorable boss, though can be accidentally skipped if you accidentaly disagree with an important NPC

Overall, I'd give it a 6.7/10. Still, at least this game feels inspired and feels more or less fun to play.
