Psi-Dazzle (サイコ・コンフューズ, Saiko Konfyūzu^?, lit. "Psycho Confuse")^[1] is a move that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a POW move used by Overmind Riadne, in which Riadne attacks with psychokinetic abilities.

Description[]

When performing Psi-Dazzle, Riadne flies up to its opponents and releases blue psychokinetic energy rings while spinning around. Afterwards, it retreats to its spot.

In gameplay, Psi-Dazzle deals attack damage to a single target. When dealing damage, Psi-Dazzle is guaranteed to inflict Distract on the target.^[1]

Real-Time Interaction[]

When Psi-Dazzle is performed in gameplay, the player has to complete a series of real-time events by performing certain actions on the Touch Screen, in order to evade Psi-Dazzle optimally. If done correctly, the attack will be nullified:

1. The player has to touch the inside of seven circles in succession when the outer circles overlap the inner circles.
2. The player has to tap an inner circle that appears eight times, before the outer circle overlaps the inner circle.

Missing or not touching these circles correctly will increase the chances of the attack connecting.
