The Song of Fighters II is a remix of a song originally performed by various female voice actors of the company; it is usually chosen as the song after the intro sequence for The Band of Fighters' live performances. The lyrics and melody remain mostly the same as the original but was made to include other singers than the original five like Takehito Koyasu, Harumi Ikoma, Hazuki Nishikawa, and Monster Maezuka. Aside from the chorus, each line is sung by a different character from The King of Fighters series.
Since the insert phrases the characters say is swapped with every new performance (as not all members can attend at all times), voice actors can choose to say another character quote in it's place. The live variation of this song is entitled "Bright & Fly!"; the lyrics are different but the melody is the same as Song of Fighters. A live performance of "Bright & Fly!" can be seen here.
