Template:DATE/doc

This is a documentation subpage for Template:DATE. It may contain usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

This template should always be substituted (i.e., use {{subst:DATE}}).

This template will create the date= parameter in the proper format needed by most maintenance and clean-up templates that auto-include maintenance categories with the tags.

Example use:
