Kibi Province (吉備国, Kibi no kuni) was a very old province of Japan in the area as Okayama Prefecture and eastern Hiroshima Prefecture on the island of Honshū.^[1] It was sometimes called Bishū (備州).

History

Kibi was divided into Bizen, Bitchū, and Bingo provinces in the late 7th century.^[2]
