Firouz Bagherzadeh (31 May 1930 – 4 February 2021) was an Iranian archaeologist and Islamic art scholar. He was an expert on ceramics and Islamic works. He was born in Tabriz, Iran. In June 1977, he was elected the first President of the World Committee of Cultural and Natural Heritage (UNESCO).

Bagherzadeh died on 4 February 2021 in Paris, France at aged 90.[1]
