Hello, I am Mr. Berty. I'm sure you've all seen me around. I have good expertise in vandal fighting and have many articles (see here). I also have some admin experience here (even with beliefs thhat I don't agree with). There is a lot to clean up sometiomes on this wiki and I just might be the man to do that. Optional questions from wiooiw (talk)

Q: Would you ever block a user or ip without any warnings?

A: No, never. Unless; of course it was another user's problem (some users don't put warnings on vandals tpages, you see). The one and only...Mr. Berty! talk~stalk 08:35, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Q: Last month you posted this on your userpage and removed it a few days later. Is that something you are still planing to do?

A: Only time can tell that one. The one and only...Mr. Berty! talk~stalk 08:35, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Support

  1. Support I believe he has a heart in helping others. He had played an important role in resolving some conflicts(especially mine). I also believe that enwiki is not equal to simplewiki. HydrizTalkBot 08:31, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Support Mr. Berty has been of late quite helpful here in tasks such as reverting vandalism, and I really see no problem with the enwiki thing. From what I've seen, he's served the folks at New CP quite well as being an admin there. The myspacing the other voters have referenced may be questionable, though I am not familiar with such. Nonetheless, I believe Mr. Berty would be a fine admin.--Colonel Battaleaxe (talk) 18:09, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose

  1. Sorry, no. Recent block, socks on enwiki, questionable behaviour here (feeding trolls, myspacing) suggest this is very premature. PeterSymonds (talk) 20:09, 3 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Peter pointed it out quite good. -Barras (talk) 20:30, 3 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  3. Sorry, but I don't think your maturity level is near enough to what I would expect from an administrator. Stuff like myspacing (including frequently adding personal commentary to warnings even after being asked to stop) and behavior that seems like you're treating this site like a playground all lead me to oppose. Kansan (talk) 20:50, 3 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  5. Instances of immaturity (here, here, and here) and Myspacing (here and here) leads me to oppose. Albacore (talk · changes) 21:51, 3 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  6. Kansan and PeterSymonds summed it up a lot better than I could have. --j e r s e y 00:31, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  7. Agree with all of the above. Too immature to have my trust. Either way (talk) 01:25, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  8. Too immature to use such a tool. Pmlineditor (t · c · l) 12:26, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Just noting that the user has also canvassed their RfA at a different wiki. Pmlineditor (t · c · l) 12:27, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  9. Definitely a no here. I have a hard time with him being an editor due to the immaturity issues, nevermind an admin. -DJSasso (talk) 13:23, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  10. Weak oppose Sigh. I really hate to do this, Mr. Berty, you've been so wonderful here and all - but I think you should wait a little more. Patience is really important for an administrator, and nobody's that sure about you just yet. :( Still, I think you are a great editor, so don't feel discouraged by all these opposes! All you need is time, dear. ingly, Bella tête-à-tête 13:26, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  11. Per above. Diego Grez let's talk 14:39, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  12. I'm sorry, but it's a no go for me. You have much more to learn.-- Tdxiang 15:00, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  13. Sorry for the pile on. My concern is a mix of immaturity, and a poor understanding of core policies such as the BLP policy.--Gordonrox24 | Talk 21:54, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  15. I don't see the maturity or necessary experience required for the tool. — Ancient ApparitionChampagne? 00:36, 5 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
