Serin/treoninska proteinska kinaza LMTK2, takođe poznata kao Lemur tirozinska kinaza 2 (LMTK2), enzim je koji je kod ljudi kodiran LMTK2 genom.[1][2]
LMTK2 enzim pripada familiji proteinskih tirozinskih kinaza. On sadrži N-terminusne transmembranske heliksae i dug C-terminusni citoplasmatični rep sa serin/treonin/tirozinskom kinaznom aktivnošću. Ovaj protein formira interakcije sa nekoliko drugih proteina, kao što su inhibitor-2 (Inh2), protein fosfataza-1 (PP1C), p35, i miozin VI. On fosforiliše druge proteine, i biva fosforilisan posredstvom ciklin zavisne kinaze 5 (cdk5)/p35 kompleksa. Ovaj protein učestvuje u signalizaciji nervnog faktora rasta (NGF)-TrkA, kao i u endozomnoj membranskoj razmeni. Studije na miševima sugerišu da ovaj protein ima esencijalnu ulogu u spermatogenizi.[2]
LMTK2 formira interakcije sa PPP1CA,[3] ciklin zavisnom kinazom[4] i PPP1R2.[3]
