I didn’t do what you think I did, but I let you believe it. Because I cared. You needed someone to blame, and so I took responsibility for something I didn’t do. I let it happen, hoping it would help you heal and move on. And in return.. you treated me with disgust, especially when I was going through the worst moment of my life.. Heartbreak, grief, complete breakdown - it destroyed me. You were ruthless. And I still put your needs before mine. Because I cared. I thought you were different.
