Princess Catherine of Alexandria converted to christianism when she was 14. When she protested against the persecutions of emperor Maxentus, the latter summoned 50 of his best orators and philosophers to dispute with her. Catherine won the debates and some of the orators even converted. Catherine was tortured and let to die of starvation in prison, but her wounds quickly healed and a dove often came to feed her.Even the empress, Valeria Maximillia, converted thanks to her.
