Plus quilts

The Modern Plus Quilt is finally finished! I've cooked up a tutorial if you're interested in making your own! I use this quilt all the time, for naps and as an extra layer on my bed. She is one of my favourites. Today I realized I have not shown her off properly here as a finish. This tropical looking beauty is warming up my day here in Indiana where it is currently only 20 degrees!! I love all of the bright and bold colors of this fabric. I thought it would be great for a simple plus patchwork design.

This weekend I make a few more Plus block for Laila's Low Volume Plus Sew Along and made a baby quilt with them. I added a 2 1/2" strip of background between each block and offset the rows.
