MDF is not water proof 💧 This means that when your kids splash, your dog shakes, or your toilet overflows 🤢 you’re going to have water damage.   I opted to replace my bathroom baseboards with PCV because it’s waterproof! The only cons of this is that it’s a bit more expensive, and there aren’t as many style options.   If you’re renovating a bathroom, or building one from the start, then I suggest going with PCV baseboards to save you work later.
