I love this concept of a dungeon janitorial adventure. I thought the characters were unique and well written, I really enjoyed the movement mechanic, and I think it has a lot of potential.
I think to improve the player experience, adding a little more emphasis on the dialogue log or perhaps making the quest marker change at the end when you are told how to enter the dungeon would be helpful. I got confused on what to do, and eventually found the dialogue log to help me proceed.
Overall I think it has potential to be a unique and good game, and I can't wait to see what the full release looks like.
I've actually played this game when it was newly released and was amazed by how charming the characters were. I'm gonna play the update soon, i wish I could make fanart when I have the time but pls know this is such a fun game! Amazing job
Plz don't give up on this game! It's super fun! I noticed the updates stopped around 40 days ago and the steam page got only 30 followers in the two months it's been up, which I know is not much but don't give up on the game!
We didn't give up, but we have to allocate time somehow. The game has no budget, so we can't work on it full-time. Also the demo is working as it is, so currently there is no reason for us to update it; instead we plan the next levels for the full version and work on the story.
Interesting! I was suprised when I ended the game and I had played it for 20 minutes!
I feel like there could be more done to engage the player, I did get a little bored running from one area to the other. Also once I knew how to access the hidden passages, I was a little dissapointed that I couldn't go through everyplace that looked like it had a secret passage.
We're looking into adding/improving ways when it comes to traversing the areas. We might add more stuff, but we really don't want to have too many mechanics.
And yeah, more secrets to come. I'm not super happy with non-colliding walls in any case, so I definitely want to add hidden switches and levers.

# Things I would love to see improved/changed
- In the laptop it was laggy. I thik it's a big deal specialy since the laptop runs smoothly other 3D indie games such as "The Return of the Obra Dinn".
- The things you can interact with are (mostly) 2D sprites — thats great— but you can also interact with 3D objects and there is no clear indication of which object will the player be expected to clic in. I think it would be great to make all "clic-me" stuff 2D sprites.
Thank you! I hope performance problems can be fixed later on, right now I'm not sure what the cause would be. Did you try running the game on the dedicated graphics card?
This was SO fun! I loved the dungeon vibes of it, the characters, the actual dungeon itself; the look and feel of the game, it was really good so far! The actual motion of the game was really nice and smooth and it really did feel like being on a DnD battlemap as you're moving in squares, and I don't know, I just really liked the movement of the game.
The characters and personalities of them were great! It was so fun to interact with them and know them and their stories as well as what they say to help the character. It was super fun and would love to see more down the line!
The quests were good too; pretty straight forward so far and I can see more of them and different types and how they can utilise the movement and story pretty well, but so far, they were not bad!
Really liked how the dungeon is explorable and you can just find the next part of the map while also unlocking previous areas for shortcuts. It really made it feel like a proper battlemap and, it was just well done!
The music was good, but I feel like it didn't suit the game as much. There could be other pieces used to really tie in the game together than the one that's used currently.
The tidying up part of the quest was also pretty fun and really adds to the player customisability, I felt like the movement of the change of view felt slightly off, but that could just be me.
Overall, I really like the game so far! There's so much personality as well as character to the game, love the gameplay and cannot wait for more down the line! Good luck on this project!
Thanks a lot for the feedback and video!! =) The deco mode is still WIP, so yeah, there is probably more stuff that feels slightly of still. We'll work on that!
Went to the controls menu and both the LMB and RMB buttons were red, and when I tried to resolve the issue it told me to rebind the game pad buttons. Would love to fix this to continue playing this charming little game! Playing on a Windows btw.
Hey! LMB and RMB are (currently) not rebindable, so that's why the buttons are red - they work in the game. The buttons on the right are for rebinding gamepad controls only.
hey guys, i was in the cleaning tables task and i get all the dishes but cant complete the task, dunno if im doing something wrong but i think its a bug, pretty nice game tho
Hey, thanks for playing! You probably didn't collect the cup on the chair; the game needs a tutorial in this regard (will do with the next update) - you can look up and down and get the cup by keep pressing the right mouse button!

I like the setting and characters. The noise the dungeon master makes gives me a chuckle every time.
I'm not a fan of the movement mechanic. It's clunky and slow. I would much rather it was just regular first person movement with mouse look.
I don't understand why as janitor I would need to 'buy' furniture. So the fiction around that mechanic needs to be adjusted a bit to make more sense.
You should probably have the chairs be highlighted green/red if they are correctly linked up with a table as it wasn't clear to me that I was doing the right thing when setting up the chairs.
Overall I am intrigued enough to want to play more. Keep it up!
A very nice atmosphere going on in this game. That music track, even though it's short and a placeholder, adds to a sense of awe and mystery that I hope continues into the story, soundtrack, and dungeon itself!
It's smart that you saved on graphics where it's supposed to be dark. I'd make Gelly have the memories and experiences you'd expect from a Gelly and still be funny. Odette should be a good host and tell you how to get around. Is the goblin boss thing from Casper? The gore wasn't there and are the Trolls disgusting? When does the janitor get paid and why is the janitor the maid? Is Odette squeezing service out of the Janitor extraordinaire to take advantage? You sure need janitors if you have rats. Odette should be Norse? I like names that are memorable. I like her name, but she mentions some strange hard to pronounce place that I'd easily forget because it's something my brain would spit out. I like discovering interesting things that might be useful later. It teaches home economics, searching, communicating and being resourceful in a fantastic way. Medieval times though had more lore in speech. Sound effects tells you clues, mood or when you unlocked something special. I'd probably spend more time with it if were more rewarding right away. I like treasure, potions, amulets and trading. Perhaps diamonds. Maybe rats should be guides. I like helpful strangers. I'd spend more time too if there was a glamorous glorious being. Someone you'd really like and look up to or else is very ominous. Well It's just a short and it's probably more when its deeper. I'd add some greek mythical characters for style. tricksters. firepower. fairy tale creatures with themes. decorated sword. gauntlet. and finally the grail.
I'm currently working on gamepad support, but as the game is still a prototype it doesn't have the highest priority. It's definitely on the agenda though.
And yes, if everything works out, then Mops&Mobs will be on Steam too!
Love a good narrative game, and the fact that it is mixed with tasks, a decoration mode, and more is even better! It shows great promise and I HOPE to see more! Left a follow and your game starts at 21:00 in the video =)
I loved this and I'm looking forward to future versions of the game. I don't know if it's super useful to watch but I also recorded footage of me playing the game and having a good time.
Definitely enjoying the vibe of this one, can't wait to see the use of deco mode to earn money for decoration related puzzles! The few characters in this so far are full of personality that I can't wait to see more of, and the overall vibe of the game reminds me of the older dungeon delving style games, so it's nice seeing it from the employees side of the dungeon crawl.

The game is fun, the plot is quite interesting! I especially liked the graphics and music! I would like more convenient controls

looks awesome!!
Can you upload the demo on Steam?
Yes, when the demo is a bit more polished we will probably do that.
You can talk to a broom.
Awesome premise!!!
Beautiful game. I look forward to cleaning more of this dungeon
The art of this game is stunning :O I really like it
