I can't get past the stage. Is there a glitch or what? It seems like a good game, but it's a failure, and I can't get past the level. It seems very slow. Please reply.

He was jealous of him and his success, and thought that this was all whilst later planning to abandon him. Whilst he would never have pushed him down the stairs, he didn't want to help him either bc in his mind it was kind of 'karma?' for taking everything. But later he realised that was just him being selfish and winnie didnt deserve that. Hence in the end when he has that broken leg and hes a lot worse off than winnie after the accident he says he deserves it.
— I played this with my friend, and oh my gosh?? It was one of the most wholesome ga(ys)me I ever played, like honestly. I like how in the good ending Winnie actually talks about his feelings too, like not just Auggie. I love them sm!!! I hope that they end up meeting again (n then kiss :3)
— But besides all joke up there, it was so wholesome, the game is obviously recommended!! 10/10. I loved it a little bit too much, I feel like I SHOULD HAVE started to cry, but if you’re someone who’s maybe into bromance and/or wholesome friendships, I would recommend you this awesome game!!
Cold Front is an absolutely beautiful game, of course I expected no less from the creators who made Dead Plate and Elevator Hitch. The CG scenes are beautiful and horrifying, the music is so good, and my heart couldn't take it anymore with what happens in both the endings. Also the snowman easter egg is so cute ;)

i usually dont cry over games but this made me bawl my eyes out I LOVED IT dahkgdhgdas i have no words the story was perfect and i loved the good ending<3 i would recccomend this to everyone cuz it made me realize some stuff abt my life too, its a masterpiece even tho it was creadted only in a month!
as much as i would love to play it myself... i can't get past the chase screen due to lag. tried like ten times. i guess i'll watch a playthrough instead sigh
This game is so perfect, it has to be my favorite sig <3 the characters are so loveable, the plot is so interesting & deep, and the story was so flawlessly executed in the form of a game! Thanks to my friend for introducing (read as: forcing) me to (play) Married in Red, leading me to fall into the studio investigrave hole (i can't get out!!). All of your games are masterpieces, I'm excited for the other games to come :)
With that aside, I need Auggie and Winnie to kiss. I need them to reunite and get married and rebuild the lil "Augustine 1" snowman every winter.

edit: nvm got out of the chase part by pure luck and the power of being used to having lag, now i can finally go through the story! but please tell me how can i lower the effects of the snow? its what it gives me lag i think
i know im probably way too late to help you, but if anyone else is seeing this with the same problem, go to the game files -> www -> img -> weather, then edit the snow png by zooming it into a blank space and saving. its not perfect, and theres still lag when the text shakes, but i was able to make it through the chase :)
I can't explain how much I love this game, I'm grateful to my friend since he introduced me to these games(Cold Front, Dead Plate, Married in Red, etc.)

This game is freakin good, i'm curious if there's a bad ending one tho.
The bad ending is probably when Augustine pushes Winnie down the stairs because he replaces Winnie, doing the exact thing he he hated Winnie for.
