~ House |
House is the main antagonist of the Doctor Who episode "The Doctor's Wife". He is a cosmic entity animating an abandoned planetoid who seeks out TARDISes to devour them for their artron energy and sustain himself.
He was voiced by Michael Sheen, who also played Aro in the Twilight series.
What Makes Him Pure Evil?[]
- He uses a fake Gallifreyan distress signal to lure in Time Lords before murdering them and devouring their TARDISes (which are also sentient beings) to sustain himself on their artron energy. The ruined TARDISes littering the surface of the planetoid indicate he has hundreds of victims if not more.
- He stitches the remains of his victims into two living beings, Uncle and Auntie, who he torments for his own entertainment, crudely "repairing" their bodies with more of his victim's remains whenever they begin to wear out.
- He takes control of the mind of an Ood who he names "Nephew" and forces him to act as his servant.
- After discovering that the Time Lords are now thought extinct, he possesses the Doctor's TARDIS and flees his body to find new food sources and playthings, condemning Auntie and Uncle to death without his influence to animate them and leaving the Doctor and Idris to die when his body crumbles.
- After trapping Amy and Rory Williams within the TARDIS' labyrinthine halls, House tortures them for his own amusement by altering their perceptions of reality, at one point forcing Amy to hallucinate that Rory is tortured and driven insane for centuries on the other side of the door until he eventually dies from old age and is left a desiccated husk. He also alters Amy's mind to leave her blind with the hope that she stumbles into Nephew and dies.
