Countess Elizabeth Bathory is the main antagonist of Elizabeth J. Braswell's novel What Once Was Mine, a "what if…?" of the Disney movie Tangled where Rapunzel receives the wrong flower and gains the moon powers instead of the sun powers. She is based on the historical person of the same name.
What Makes Her Pure Evil?[]
- In the past when her maid accidentally got blood on her, she killed her and bathed in her blood due to discovering its youth-sustaining properties.
- Murdered so many young girls for so many years and bathed in their blood to the point where her current maid says that her village is nearly empty.
- Attempts to buy Rapunzel from Mother Gothel.
- In an attempt to get to Rapunzel, Bathory burns down the Snuggly Duckling.
- Plans to use Rapunzel's deadly hair to take over the world by killing anyone she needs to.
- Threatens to kill Flynn Rider and Magda and drain their blood if Rapunzel does not give a demonstration of her moon powers, which she was seconds away from doing.
