Look carefully and you’ll spot that I painted it over the top of another (upside down) portrait ;-) : I also used a darker (than usual) Paynes Grey acrylic ground - and, subsequently, needed to draw in a darker oil colour. : There were quite a few adjustments because the angle of the head was quite tricky.
