Poachers and a growing ivory market in China are behind these massacres. According to the UN data, there are only 400,000 elephants left. If this goes on, they will become extinct in less than a decade. As simple as that. The Kenyan Richard Moller is working on protecting a specially threatened group - the iconic big Tuskers. Their ivory grows long down to the ground. A hundred years ago, there were thousands of them but nowadays, there are only 10 left at Tsavo National Park and only 4 more in the whole continent. Moller chases poachers every day across the savannah with his team. However, he cannot keep them from being killed. By the time this new documentary by Hernán Zin (director of 'Born In Gaza', nominated for the Spanish Academy Awards in 2014) was finished, not even 10 elephants were still alive.
