Sveta on Instagram: "I was going to share this smocking tutorial earlier, but always postponed and didn’t know if I should show whole process or just sewing part. Then I decided to make it together with pattern. I used a yoke part of basic shirt , it’s more complicated because of round neckline. For example, if you apply it for the sleeves bottom or others straight edge parts, you no need to cut original pattern for thousands slices, but for the curve edge you have to move every pleat.  Another important thing is that your pleat width should be same size as the space between, I made it in 1cm.
