A silkscreen print based on my gorgeous backpacking trip in the the Inyo National Forest in the Eastern Sierra, Californa. This is Dusy Basin, which is one of hte most beautiful places I've ever camped. I wanted to capture the fiery last light on the mountians as the sun set. I used the split fountian technique with transparent inks to create the rainbow gradient. This means that each print is slightly different and unique, as the inks blend in different ways throughout the print run. I did silkscreens 30 years ago and loved it ... I recently dug them out and decided to have reproductions made in order to share them! The price reflects the purchase of one of these prints.
