Walter Hergt is a Hudson Valley-based filmmaker who is passionate about making films that expand our ability to see one another. Trained as an oral historian, Walter brings the principles of reciprocity, narrators rather than subjects, and elevating lesser-heard voices to his photo and video practice. For fifteen years, Walter also worked as a fine-home builder in Vermont. He loves to race at the bow of a sailboat and to pedal and to moto.
