This is a very unique Calvin Martinez all silver concho belt. This is an amazing showpiece. Belt is an adjustable and reversible Native American Navajo hand made wearable piece of art. There are 12 round conchos in traditional 'old style' heavy gauge sterling silver, all with intricate detailed geometric designs, and joined together with hand wrought sterling silver links and a hook clasp which becomes hidden when worn. Can be turned on the reverse unstamped silver side as well for another look. I don't polish any jewelry pieces, sold as is with patina, customer can polish to a super high shine if preferred. Would make a great gift! Hallmark sterling, Navajo and signed C. Mtz. in an arrowhead shaped stamp. Calvin Martinez started making jewelry at a young age from his parents. He creates classic, traditional Navajo jewelry influenced by century old techniques and styles. This artist works with silver scraps and prefers to melt his own ingot to purchasing silver sheets so this is an eco friendly method to work. Model is around 26 waist but this is more on her hips which measure 29-30". She is petite. Belt has room to link to two more conchos. It also fit a size large 38 waist female hooked to the last concho with nothing hanging down. 416 grams for the entire piece 40.25" long sterling silver concho belt 2.25" x 2.25" diameter conchos Priority Shipping is included with full insurance.
