I've put together a little tutorial on creating your very own Blythe corset pattern. I'm not an expert, but I remember some stuff from when I studied fashion and textiles!!! Once you have turned your corset inside out, tack(baste) all around the edges, so that it's all nice and flat. Give it a decent press. Mark where you want your eyelets to go with a pacer style pencil, and then using an awl, (or perhaps a metal kitchen skewer might work) make holes where your pencil marks are. Once taped up properly, I took a pen and mark out as straight lines as I could - the centre front, and centre back. then I added other seams. I've used a sharpie and STILL managed to get a dot on my poor doll. AGH. I've added a side seam here too, I don't like to use shoulder seams, so I didn't bother with one .. however afterwards I sort of wished i had, so will do that in future.
