Calls

The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) is planning to launch a call for tender for the above-mentioned subject matter. 

The overall objectives of the contract to be awarded are:

 1. To increase knowledge, to raise awareness and to improve access to information related to work-related psychosocial risk factors and mental health in the transport sector. 

2. To provide an overview of the prevalence of psychosocial risk factors and mental health issues of workers in the transport sector, identifying risks particular to the sector and considering vulnerable subgroups of workers.

 Expected deliverables are:

 • To develop a comprehensive report (max 40-50 pages/38,000 words) based on the results of the tasks – a literature review on psychosocial risk factors and mental health in the transport sector with a focus on EU Member States which shall also include examples of good practices (approx. 10-12) for addressing psychosocial risks and mental health at work in the sector. 

• To elaborate general conclusions/recommendations based on the overall findings of the research. 

• To provide a summary of EU social partners and other sectoral associations’ view on the topic of psychosocial risks and mental health and their management, gathered with a limited number of short, semi-structured interviews conducted in the framework of the project (approx. 10 interviews). 

• To provide a PowerPoint presentation summarising the main findings of the research, and a stand-alone executive summary based on the final report. 

The maximum total budget available for the contract will be EUR 50,000 (excluding VAT).
