A reissue of the 1709 eighth edition with a different titlepage, another titlepage for the first part: 'Origines sacræ: or a rational account of the grounds of the Christian faith, .. '; pp.117-674 added to part 2 contain: 'A letter to a deist'. 'Irenicum. A weapon-slave for the church wounds'. 'A discourse concerning the power of excommunication'' and 'The unreasonableness of separation: or, an impartial account of the history, .. of the present separation from the communion of the Church of England'.

The 'part of another book upon the same subject' has its own titlepage: 'Origines sacræ: .. In five books. .. ' London: printed by W. B. for Henry Mortlock, 1709.

It contains only book 1, chapters 1 and 2 (Pp.[4],1-117).
