Short Summary[]
Augur does not trust Caribou, but the latter mentions he can tell Blackbeard about Poseidon and Pluton. As the Marines struggle against the Pacifistas, the Vice Admirals decide to target Bonney, and Dorry and Brogy save her from one of them. Meanwhile, Saturn assumes Beast Form, and when Sanji attempts to flee with Vegapunk, Kizaru critically injures the scientist. A pre-recorded message from Vegapunk then activates inside Egghead, as it broadcasts to tell the truth about the world.
Long Summary[]
Augur holds Caribou at gunpoint as the latter begs on his knees to be spared. Augur tells Caribou that he does not trust him because lots of people are after Blackbeard’s life right now, but he insists his intentions are pure. He even tells the two that if they kill him here and now, there will be severe consequences, and when Augur inquires about them, Caribou tells him that he has information he would be willing to share with Blackbeard (that being the identity of Poseidon and the location of Pluton). Even then, he insists he can be useful to Blackbeard, leaving Augur and Devon to ponder.
The Marines, meanwhile, are unable to blast through the Pacifista’s Bubble Shields. Vice Admiral Bluegrass is frustrated that they have to destroy their greatest weapons because she knows it would be a huge blow to the Marines’ military force. Fellow Vice Admiral Hound asks if it is too late to call off the Buster Call, but his fellow Vice Admiral Guillotine refuses, saying that Dr. Vegapunk is a traitor for giving command of the Pacifista to a pirate like Bonney. Knowing that, though, the Marines decide to make it a priority to find and kill Bonney so they can regain control of the Pacifista. Deducing where she will most likely be while trying to escape, Vice Admiral Tosa reports he is in pursuit. He catches up to her but before he can kill her, he is smashed into the ground by Brogy.
The sudden appearance of the two giants surprises Bonney, Franky, and Atlas. Dorry and Brogy ask who they all are (they do not recognize Franky despite familiarizing themselves with the new members’ wanted posters) and that they came to get the crew. Franky asks if they are enemies aiming for Luffy’s life, but the two giants clarify they are his friends and offer to help however they can. Bonney asks them to help Luffy, Sanji, and Dr. Vegapunk, and Dorry and Brogy immediately head off in that direction, leaving the three to the other giants.
The other Vice Admirals note that Tosa’s line was cut off, so one of them, Pomsky, decides to head to land. Bluegrass tells Doll to get on one of the Sea Beast Weapons she is currently controlling so they can attack from sea, and she asks Doll if she has ever fought a giant before. Doll replies that she had a commanding officer who was a giant, and which turns out to have been Jaguar D. Saul.
As for Luffy’s group, Sanji asks Dr. Vegapunk how they are supposed to save him if they cannot move him. Dr. Vegapunk responds that while he did want to escape, there are things on this island he still wishes to protect, so he feels he cannot leave yet. In addition, he reveals he wanted the secret of Bonney’s command override to remain one until she became a little bit older, and now she will be hunted for the rest of her life, so he asks the Straw Hats to look after her. Sanji, however, ignores Dr. Vegapunk and focuses on how Saturn has returned and transformed into his Beast Form. Seeing his legs covered in venom, Sanji tells Luffy to dodge them, which he easily does. At the same time, Luffy tells Sanji to get Dr. Vegapunk out of here, no matter how much he complains.
Sure enough Dr. Vegapunk demands to be put down but Sanji ignores him, but Kizaru kicks him away and stabs Dr. Vegapunk with his light sword. Sanji immediately recovers and picks him up again, with Luffy telling him to get to the back entrance. Kizaru tries once again to intercept him, but Luffy grows to giant size and grabs Kizaru in his right hand and grips Saturn’s face with his left. He tells the two of them that they aren’t getting away from him as Luffy’s grip causes Kizaru to draw blood.
Sanji demands Dr. Vegapunk not die on him and wonders why he is smiling all of a sudden. Back in the lab, a message from Dr. Vegapunk starts playing, where he announces to the entire world that he is going to tell them the truth about it.
