This is one of my favorite photos from Queens. Taken during sunset looking down Queens Blvd from the Forest Hills/Rego Park boundary.  This is one image in a series I am creating that captures every aspect of New York City through various urban scenes and night shots. From classic skylines, to famous landmarks and local neighborhood details, my goal is to capture every different aspect and angle of NYC. I'm not normally a morning person, but because of the time shift from the UK, I was raring to go in the "morning". So I managed to catch some lovely sunrises. It was REALLY cold (about -6°C (20°F)) but the warm sunlight gave a really nice glow. You can just see Carnegie Hall on the right of the picture. Taken looking down 57th Street with 7th Avenue crossing the picture.
