Beth Wilson on Instagram: "FITTED UNIT IKEA HACK 🚪 our fitted unit hack is finally finished! we wanted built in units in our lounge but didn’t fancy paying the expensive price tag that is associated with it, so decided to give it a go ourselves using @ikeauk units and doors, some wood and MDF. we used the PLATSA units and got some extendable legs from @bandq_uk to raise the unit high enough off the ground. we also cut some of the unit out to make sure we can still reach the plugs at the back of the wall. once it was in place, we cut wood and mdf to size to box the units in and give it the ‘fitted’ look. we used mdf sheet for the top of the unit, and then painted and primed it all to finish it in white ✨ we were kindly gifted the beautiful Piccadilly Knurled Cupboard Knobs from @frela Built In Tv Unit Ikea Hack, Ikea Hack Shelves Wall, Ikea Built In Cupboards, Front Door Cupboard Ideas, Built In Mdf Shelves, Ikea Cupboards Living Room, Ikea Pax Media Wall, Lounge Fitted Cupboards, Ikea Beauty Salon Ideas

DIY Hacks HQ - home of IKEA hacks and more! on Instagram: "PLATSA HALLWAY • Another hallway today but a very different style! This was created by @studio.philomena using the IKEA Platsa system. The doors have been custom made out of mdf and finished with some weave cane webbing then painted in @farrowandball Shaded White. For this design, Valerie has used 2 Platsa cabinets in 180x60 and 4 units in 60x40. All in all, these provide ample storage for a growing family!!
