Felt Cupcakes

I have made a huge stash of these and enjoy giving them out to people for their birthdays! Of course they also go great with a felt Turtle or a felt Inchworm too! I used wool felt for these. Sorry no in process photos but pretty straight forward. Trace pattern onto Freezer Paper. Iron onto the felt colors of your choice. Aren't these just adorable? One of the things I love about making felt food is that it's easy, inexpensive, and so cute once they're done. I made these as my daughter napped today. I also took lots of pictures and created a pattern so you can make some too. Here is the pattern. Cut the pattern out and trace it on to your felt. Then cut your felt pieces. Feel like some frosting??? I love it! This was totally fun...time consuming...but worth the time! I will show you a basic way to attach the frosting using a twisted pattern, then a couple ways I tried to mimic what I do on real cakes. I cut felt, doubled over, to 3/4" I cut long strips, not measuring or anything. I can only say you want it long, so you don't have to splice it in the middle of the frosting.
