Karla Dornacher - 52 Word Project... Word#13... Worthy . We know that God is worthy... there’s no question there. He is worthy of all honor and glory and praise! . But do you feel worthy? It’s a word some of us can trip over, isn’t it? But the opposite of worthy is being no-good, valueless and worthless and that’s not how God sees us. In fact, He values us so much... Jesus gave His life for ours.... so we could be called His children... so we could know and believe that we are dearly loved and greatly valued. . So whatever happens... in our lives... in our circumstances... let’s remember who we are... really... who we are as followers and co-heirs in Christ... and live it! With heads held high and joy in our hearts... let’s live it. Karla Dornacher - Wednesday’s Word - FAITH! Last weeks word was hope... and faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not yet seen. . The true substance of our faith is the underlying foundation of all we hope for. When our foundation is shaky so is our hope and that’s why our faith needs to be grounded in the person of Jesus Christ... His nature and the His truth of His Word. Thinking about this reminded me of the hymn... My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and righteousness.” Do you remember it? Can we sing it together? It’s oh so true! . When our hope is shaky... we need to check to see where we’re putting our faith. In man? In circumstances? Or in our God?
