Susanna wesley

John Wesley (1703-1791) was a traveling preacher and the founder of Methodism. He was one of 19 siblings. He once asked his godly mother, Susanna, to define sin for him and this is what she said:

When I had forgotten God, yet I then found He had not forgotten me. Even then He did by His Spirit apply the merits of the great atonement to my soul, by telling me that Christ died for me.
