	SCENE 1	Oscar sets out six pieces of junk that he intends to subtract. He explains to Gordon that they keep falling out of his closet, so he’s subtracting them by throwing them out onto the street. Gordon retaliates by adding each one back into Oscar’s can.

	Muppets	Ernie & Bert — Ernie can't sleep, so Bert tells him to count sheep. Ernie tries to count sheep, but it's dull -- so he starts counting fire engines. The noise from the imaginary fire engine wakes Bert up. Bert says that Ernie's waking up the whole neighborhood, and tells him to count something quieter. Ernie counts balloons -- but the balloon gets bigger and bigger, finally bursting with a huge explosion that wakes Bert up again. (First: Episode 0276)

	SCENE 2	David walks home with a record he just bought. Sam the Robot offers to play it for him, citing that his father's side of the family had many record players in it. First he plays it too slow, then too fast. Sam finally plays it right, but dislikes the rock music; being a machine, he prefers a cacophony of sounds played from his various gears and parts.

	Cast	Luis is dressed for snow, but is stuck at the beach. David dresses for the beach, but finds himself in the snow. They happily switch places.

	SCENE 3	David encounters Farley, who looks down. He explains that he just quit the baseball team because he couldn't manage to get a good hit today. David tells him to keep practicing, and, in a flashback sequence, recalls when he was on the track team and had to practice before he got good. Farley decides to keep playing baseball.

	Muppets	Ernie & Bert — Bert can't go on a trip with Ernie because his hand has purple paint on it. Ernie puts a mitten on Bert's hand to cover it, but Bert still won't go because he looks silly wearing one mitten. So Ernie completes the outfit with another mitten, a hat, a scarf, and a sled. 	SCENE 4	Gordon has Big Bird and the kids guess which body parts rhyme with the words in his poem. Big Bird has a rough time trying to guess parts that birds don't have, so Gordon makes up a poem about his beak.
	Muppets	A bridge of teeth come to an employment agency, looking for a job. He's offered jobs in the smelling line and in listening, but he's unqualified for those. Teeth demonstrates his talent in biting and chewing by chomping up the desk. (First: Episode 0406)

She then tries to crawl down a hole in the ground, but that turns out to belong to an earthworm. She tries to get into a trash can, which belongs to Oscar. She finally finds a barn and is invited in by another cow.

	Muppets	Harvey Kneeslapper asks a man, "Do you know where I wanna be?" The man says he doesn't know. Harvey says, "I wanna B -- right here!" and slaps a letter B on the man's sweater. Harvey runs off, laughing. (First: Episode 0277)

Ernie is impressed by Cookie Monster’s device and talks about the benefits the device provides to the audience, simultaneously Cookie Monster eats Ernie’s box of cookies. Ernie tests the Cookie Counter by pointing the rod at the box of cookies, the box doesn’t ring. Cookie Monster asks Ernie to face the Cookie Counter rod to his stomach; it rings five times as proof of the location of the five cookies. (First: Episode 0481)
	SCENE 7	The kids look on as Sam whirls about playing his various machinery sounds. Gordon announces the sponsors.
	CLOSING SIGNS	The Count holds the Sesame Street sign, while Maria and Luis hold the CTW sign.
