"Cripple Creek" is a traditional American banjo tune, and has been performed a few times on Sesame Street.
It's heard as an instrumental in Episode 0027 when Tony Saletan plays it while Gordon demonstrates a dancing limberjack doll. Buffy later performs her Sesame Street adaptation of the song in Episode 0908. She plays a hand-made mouth bow while singing with Fred about going to Cripple Creek.
