It's been 10 years since the creation of the Great Truce, an elaborate joint-species surveillance system designed and monitored by cats and dogs to keep the peace when conflicts arise. But when a tech-savvy villain hacks into wireless networks to use frequencies only heard by cats and dogs, he manipulates them into conflict, and the worldwide battle between cats and dogs is BACK ON. Now, a team of inexperienced and untested agents will have to use their old-school animal instincts to restore order and peace between cats and dogs everywhere.

Like the first two instalments, all you're getting here is a middling, unchallenging talking-animal pic for early primary schoolers.

Cats & Dogs 3: Paws Unite! often unfortunately reminds you, exactly why it is a film that you had no idea was even being made. Still, the animals are absolutely lovely!

...Throw in a script that seems to have had all humour and adventure removed with a pooper scooper, and you're left with a dull animal movie for little ones

It seems rather odd that it has taken nearly 20 years for this trilogy to unfold. Perhaps the producers were hoping we would all forget how bad each previous edition had been before they made another instalment?
