Harry Harrison Back in the day, a talented young chap call Flo was one of the driving forces behind the German Stoner/Grunge outfit called DSRT. Now he’s involved in a new project, Mety Heaval, and he’s dragged this little gem of an album with him. Masterfully remastered by Thorben Vehling, this version breaths new life into the recording; sounding less muddy with a more dynamic and expansive soundstage. If you like the 2009 to 2013 Stoner sound, then get into this. Favorite track: Drift / Drown.

The flac version of this sounds great in my truck... not a crunch, clip or boom to be heard. That, in itself, gets this major points. This is a lovely combination of early Floyd, U2 and a few San Francisco bands from the '60s with a heavy dose of Helmet tossed in. It's definitely best of breed when it comes to modern psych stuff. Even without a Hammond B3, it gets an easy A+... rick-taylor
