A creature referred to as a "Bryyo Bee" in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption's internal data (or simply "bee" in the sound effect data) is an unknown species of insect with a red/blue body, white markings, and small wings. The skies of Bryyo's cliffside area are filled with an indeterminate number of these flying creatures. When killed, these creatures screech and explode in a burst of blue blood; if Samus Aran kills enough from a distance, they fly close to her and she can examine them up close, though they cannot be scanned. Collision with them causes no damage at all.
