The USS DeWitt (NCC-47702) was a 25th century Federation starship, a Geneva-class command battlecruiser in Starfleet service in the 2410s decade. (STO - Delta Rising mission: "Second Star to the Right, Straight on 'til Morning")
History[]
In the year 2409, the Galaxy X-class dreadnought cruiser USS de Witt was captured, raided and then destroyed by the Klingon Defense Force in the Alhena star system during the Federation-Klingon War of 2405-2410. (STO - Klingon War mission: "Mars, Bringer of War")
The Geneva-class battlecruiser was launched as part of Operation Delta Rising in 2410. (STO - Delta Rising mission: "Mindscape")
The new DeWitt replaced the lost dreadnought, and took its place in defending Alhena Station. (STO - Delta Rising mission: "Second Star to the Right, Straight on 'til Morning")
