Renhol was a joined Trill woman who was a commissioner and doctor with the Trill Symbiosis Commission in the 24th century. She was joined with the Renhol symbiont.

Biography[]

She and Jadzia Dax met in the year 2367 when Jadzia was selected to be joined with Dax.

In 2371, Renhol treated Jadzia when the memory block of Dax's joining to Joran Dax began to break down. Renhol hoped to keep the secret that half of all Trill were suitable to be joined secret, even if it meant Jadzia's death. Renhol relented and let the Guardian Timor remove the mental block, giving Jadzia all of Joran's memories. (DS9 episode: "Equilibrium")

Jadzia Dax contacted Renhol in the year 2372 regarding a disturbing encounter with initiate program dropout Nemi Prit. (DS9 novel: Revenant)

Alternate realities[]

First Splinter timeline[]

After Ezri Tigan was joined with Dax, Renhol asked that she contact her every week or at least once a month.

As the First Splinter timeline Ezri Dax was nearly identical with the prime timeline Ezri Dax during DS9 season 7, it could be assumed this was the case in the prime reality as well.

In 2376, Renhol contacted Ezri on Deep Space 9 as it had been six weeks since they last spoke. Renhol expressed concern that Ezri was using memories from a variety of past Dax hosts to help her in new position in command. (DS9 - Gateways novel: Demons of Air and Darkness)

Several months later, Renhol was killed during the disturbances caused by the neo-Purists on Trill. At the time of her death, it was believed she was about to run for the presidency. (DS9 - Worlds of DS9 novel: Trill: Unjoined)

MarinerConspiracies1 This character's death occurred in the First Splinter timeline. In the prime timeline, events unfolded differently, meaning this person might not have died at that point, or that they died in a different manner.
