Leslie Lebrun was a 23rd century Human woman. She served in Starfleet as a security officer aboard the Federation starship USS Enterprise in the 2260s under the command of Captain James T. Kirk.

Biography[]

Lebrun had high cheekbones, green eyes, and short brown hair. She enjoyed drawing and was a capable portrait artist. She also was trained as an engineering technician, able to repair machinery.

In 2268, Kirk officiated the marriage of Lebrun and Lieutenant Simon Nordell, with whom she bickered constantly. Lebrun wrote their vows and wore a traditional white gown. Janice Rand and Montgomery Scott acted as their attendants. During the vows, Nordell questioned the traditional vow to "obey", and after a brief argument they changed it to "cherish". The ceremony ended well, but they later argued and slept separately in their shared quarters.

Lebrun and Lieutenant Gorden were the security continent of a landing party to retrieve Harry Mudd from the planet Distrel in the Nevis system. Lebrun was shot in the chest by three disruptors blasts and seemingly vaporized, as was Mudd. Instead, both were beamed before dying by an interplanetary transporter to Prastor, a process that "resurrected" people and allowed the two worlds to maintain a war for 12 millennia. Lebrun and Mudd were not allowed to contact the Enterprise, so they attempted to escape. Mudd was caught, but Lebrun managed to commandeer a shuttle and contact Spock.

Eventually she made it back to the Enterprise, where medical analysis showed no neurological evidence of her having been killed. Her experiences with Mudd, Stella Mudd and a Stella android made her reexamine how she treated Nordell, and they made up. (TOS novel: Mudd in Your Eye)
