In the 2290s decade, Captain Flinn was assigned to command of the Federation starship USS Potemkin. In the year 2293, Potemkin was proposed to join Operation Retrieve from a start point in sector 21185, under Flinn's command. (TOS movie: The Undiscovered Country)

The Operation Retrieve info was a series of charts created as set dressing by the production artists and decorators, and as such was not all distinctly visible on screen.
