Commander Chirita Dur Tahr was a female Starfleet officer in the 23rd century, and by the year 2270, she was being considered for the ambassadorial post for her home star system.

Biography[]

Tahr's name was read out of a library computer terminal when Lieutenant Piper asked for a list of Starfleet Command senior staff who were currently or formerly answerable to the authority of Vice Admiral Vaughan Rittenhouse. The large number of correlated names indicated to Piper and Sarda that Rittenhouse was conspiratorially placing his own operatives in positions of power throughout the Federation, in a coup attempt. (TOS - Fortunes of War novel: Dreadnought!)
