Charulh is a star system that was located in 23rd century Federation space, somewhere in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants, near Andor.

History and specifics[]

The Charulh system's orbit was the location of a planetary system, including the homeworld of the Charulhan civilization, the former assignment of Federation diplomat St. John Talbot. (TOS novelization: The Final Frontier)

The proximity to Andor, which is located in the Andor sector of the Beta Quadrant could be taken to indicate this is a Beta Quadrant system as well. However, it is also possible that this system is in the Alpha Quadrant, on the opposite side of the Alpha-Beta quadrant border.
