"Alien Spotlight: Q" is a Star Trek: The Next Generation comic published by IDW Publishing in 2009 as part of the second volume of its Alien Spotlight series. The comic is written by Scott and David Tipton, with art by Elena Casagrande; the same creative team that previously worked on Alien Spotlight: Orions. The story, set a month after repairs to the USS Enterprise-E have been completed following the events of Star Trek: First Contact, sees Q visit the Enterprise and inhabit Jean-Luc Picard's body to try and gain an insider's understanding of humanity.

The all-powerful Q has returned once more, with his latest attempt to understand the nature of humanity, and this time, it's in a manner that Captain Jean-Luc Picard will never forget! How will Q bedevil Picard this time... or has Picard finally found a way to turn the tables?
