Ubisoft Planning Four AAA Releases Through March 2020

Skull & Bones, however, has been delayed past March 2020.

Ubisoft has announced that Skull & Bones will be delayed to after March 2020 and that four AAA games, including Ghost Recon Breakpoint, will be unveiled and released by the end of March 2020.

Revealed via Ubisoft's 2018-2019 financial earnings report, the company's 2019-2020 financial targets of net bookings of around €2,185 million ($2.4 billion USD) will be led by Ghost Recon Breakpoint and the three other AAA titles that are currently unknown.

As for Skull & Bones, the reason it is not expected to release until after March 2020 is due to the fact that Ubisoft's pirate game has been delayed past Ubisoft's 2019-2020 fiscal year, which began on April 1, 2019 and will end on March 31, 2020.

The Skull & Bones team, represented by producer Karl Luhe, also took to Twitter to share a message with its fans to let them know that Skull & Bones will also not be at E3 2019 as the team will focus entirely on making the game "as great as possible."

Originally scheduled to be released in fall 2018, the title that we called a mix between Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, For Honor, and The Crew apparently needs a bit more time to be able to live up to the team's vision.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint was revealed last week and is a follow-up to Ghost Recon Wildlands that will be released on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on October 4, 2019. Breakpoint is also our IGN First for this month, so stay tuned for exclusive inside looks at this new title, including its Hideout Social Hub.

Figuring out what the other three AAA titles are will be the new gripping question as we know Assassin's Creed is taking a year off. We had some small hope yesterday that a new Splinter Cell was in development, but it turned out it was just a Ubisoft dev "joking" around.
