Sarah Proctor is a Westview citizen and the wife of Harold Proctor. During the Westview Anomaly, she became Dottie Jones, the wife of Phil Jones and ruler of the town's social setting.

Early Life[]
Sarah Proctor met and married Harold Proctor. Together they had a daughter and resided in Westview, New Jersey.[2]
Westview Anomaly[]
Enthralled by Wanda Maximoff[]
In 2023, Proctor was enthralled by Wanda Maximoff and became part of the phenomenon known as the Westview Anomaly. Along with other citizens of Westview, they were brainwashed to take part in a fictional sitcom reality, with Proctor taking the part of Dottie Jones, while her husband became Phil Jones, a former employee of Computational Services Inc.[3]
Committee Meeting[]

"Well, I don't know what you've been told, but I assure you I don't mean anyone any harm."

Jones was accompanied by her neighbors heading to the committee meeting at the Westview Pool Club where Jones greeted her neighbor Agnes O'Connor, mocked Beverly and gave a speech, telling them about the fundraiser for the Westview Elementary School. Jones got annoyed by Wanda Maximoff and Geraldine, calling their attention. With Jones ending her speech saying; "For the Children", her neighbors repeated after her.
Jones spoke to Maximoff privately once the meeting ended, stating that she heard rumors about her and Vision. Maximoff replied saying she meant no harm at all, but Jones questioned her, and later both of them heard a man speaking through the radio. Jones wondered who the man was, later asking who Maximoff was. Before she even noticed, Jones accidentally broke her glass. Jones' hand bled and she completely forgot about the past events and joked about her current situation.[1]
Westview Talent Show[]

Jones hosted the Westview Talent Show. She thanked all of them for their support to the Westview Elementary School, Jones introduced Wanda Maximoff's and Vision's act. Jones was amused by the confusing magic act. Jones congratulated the couple, telling them they were hilarious. She awarded Maximoff and Vision for their magic show.[1]
Life in Suburbia[]

The next day at her house, Jones asked her husband if her earrings made her look fat. When the lights suddenly went out for reasons unknown at the time, her husband was relieved to know that he didn't need to respond to her at all.[4]
Days later, while checking her flowers, Jones noticed in surprise how Wanda Maximoff was confronting Monica Rambeau and using her powers against her. The confrontation was soon ended when Agnes O'Connor interfered by taking Maximoff home.[5]
Confronting Wanda Maximoff[]

A day later, Jones shopped for clothes with Beverly, when she was awakened by Agatha Harkness. Proctor introduced her true self to Wanda Maximoff, begging for her to free her daughter. Along with various other citizens, Proctor confronted Maximoff and begged to be released. Proctor was accidentally choked by Maximoff with her powers but was eventually released. Proctor got away before Maximoff fought Harkness.
Proctor reunited with her husband once the spell over the town was lifted, and watched as Maximoff fled Westview.[2]

As "Dottie Jones", she is very particular about the detailed and effective working of the community events. She shows an arrogant disregard for the other members in the community. But she is very attentive to the needs of her community, like how she wants everyone to perform their best to procure the maximum fundraising for the community school.

- Sarah Proctor's name is a reference to the real life Sarah Proctor, a citizen of Salem who was accused of witchcraft in 1692 when she was 16 years old.
Behind the Scenes[]
- Emma Caulfield Ford was approached by Jac Schaeffer to play Dottie Jones in WandaVision in light of their previous collaboration in the film Timer. She joined the show once Kevin Feige approved her casting.[6]
- Whitney Coleman was a hand double for Emma Caulfield Ford in the role of Dottie Jones.
