Erik was a citizen of TĂžnsberg, Norway who worked to defend the Tesseract.

Erik and Jan take cover
On the streets of TĂžnsberg, Erik and his ally Jan took a defensive position behind a lamppost. As they prepared for HYDRA's attack, Erik told Jan to warn the Church Keeper. Heading Erik's instructions, Jan then ran off. Now without Jan by his side, Erik witnessed a Landkreuzer drive through a building. He then attempted to flee but the tank shot and killed Erik before he could get far.[4]
